Vironix Consulting is a specialist cybersecurity practice focused exclusively on data loss prevention, insider threat management, and the related disciplines that keep critical data secure.
We are not a generalist IT firm that offers cybersecurity as one of twenty services. We do one thing and we do it at a level that comes from having operated at the highest standards of a global financial institution.

Our Story
Vironix was founded after years of operating inside one of the world's most closely scrutinised financial institutions. It is a global investment manager where data protection is not a compliance exercise but an operational imperative.
In that environment, the methodologies and disciplines required to protect some of the world's most sensitive data become deeply embedded. The standards are high because the consequences of failure are immediate and severe.
Returning to Nigeria, the gap was impossible to ignore. The threats facing Nigerian institutions are real and sophisticated. The access to the kind of specialist expertise that global institutions take for granted is not.

Why Vironix
The name Vironix combines viro, evoking vigilance and protection, with the suffix nix, meaning to eliminate or nullify. The mission is embedded in the name: to vigilantly identify and eliminate the threats that put your data at risk.
We are a deliberately narrow practice. We do not offer IT support, general security testing, or managed services. We focus exclusively on the disciplines that protect data from the inside out: DLP, insider threat, policy, and awareness.
That focus is our differentiator. And it is why the organisations that work with us come back.
